datadream 2006 Dreams and drawings become data. I used to dream in long, surrealistic narratives. My idea was to make a movie from one of these dreams and then of course I stopped dreaming so I took the fragments that did come my way and drew them, constructing a storyboard. Does it make sense? No, but it makes perfect sense, formulating its own logic. As true for all my movies, it is about transformation and choice. There are the themes of automata and manufacturing, the individual constrained to a formula, an authority figure and mass production, depression and where it can take you.
